    Hi susie
i was the guest blogger on midlife singlemum’s blog a week or so ago. BTW, no. 2 was out yesterday.
You asked about kibbutz – i live on a kibbutz called alumim, which is about 25 mins south of ashkelon between sderot and netivot.
I enjoyed your blog – esp always wanting to stuff your face as soon as the fast comes in even tho you’ve eaten more than u normally would all day!!

    Dear Susie,

Thanks for creating about that piece about Twitter. 12 Most Basic Tips For Beginners is really good. I’m 56, and I figure I should at least try to understand it. I tried it for a few months, didn’t care for it, but after reading your piece decided to give it another try. I hope it’s as easy as you make it sound. Even if it doesn’t work out thanks for the piece. I’m going to follow your blog if that’s alright with you – I like the way you write.

      Hi Tom,

So glad you found the twitter piece helpful. I didn’t care much for twitter my first time around either. Let me know if you need any more help with it.

And it would be an honor for you to follow my blog. :-)

I took your advice and contacted people with specific interests, as you suggested, and it paid off almost immediately. One fellow joined my blog, and woman with interests in old science fiction films is now following my blog. Since I plan simply to use to promote my blog it’s working out wonderfully. Thank you so very, very much. I prefer to keep in touch with family via Facebook, but Titter is a great news media resource.

That’s great. Just remember not to tweet your own links too many times a day and to tweet things aside from your links that might be of interest to people with interests similar to your. Also build a rapport with people on twitter by “chatting” twitter style. People you build a rapport with are more likely to look at links you do tweet (provided you don’t overdo the amount of times you tweet them). Good luck.
